Davidson College SPS is a student-led organization that fosters a community for physics enthusiasts through academic, social, and outreach events
The Davidson College SPS is a student-run group of physics majors that work closely with the Davidson Physics Department staff to provide a welcoming environment for all Davidson students that find an interest in physics. Our society encourages interest in physics throughout academic and social realms, provides support for those involved and participating in those areas, and introduces students to the professional physics community outside Davidson. The Davidson Chapter of SPS--which is also, fun fact, the alpha chapter--is only a small sector of the national SPS community, so our SPS members can utilize the perks that come with a national SPS membership, such as scholarships and research grants.
