The Village Square will provide booth space for select artisans and vendors that complement the mission of STEAMfest.

Over 2000 visitors are expected at the event. Most will be young families from the local area with a demonstrated interest in science and the arts.

Centrally located booths in The Village Square will provide maximum exposure. Vendors, artisans, and nonprofits will be intermixed along with seating and food trucks.

The Village Square is a place for visitors to watch artisans at work, browse products and services from educational vendors, learn about community nonprofits, rest and relax with beverage or snack, and enjoy the STEAM inspired entertainment on the main stage.

The artisans and vendors in The Village Square will be geared toward an activity for parents, however, young visitors will be engaged by seeing artisans at work and the exciting educational products offered by vendors.

Examples of well suited artisans & vendors including:

  • Artisan and craft persons from the community who can display their work and if appropriate demonstrate their skill or craft at the booth including glassblowers, wood and metal workers, painters, candle makers, etc.
  • Book and toy stores especially with an emphasis on STEM/STEAM topics.
  • Educational products and services especially STEM/STEAM kits and afterschool programs.
  • Maker and hobby related products and services.
Each 10′ x 10′ booth, under one of our large event tents will include a 6′ table, table covering, booth sign, and chairs. Artisans and vendors will be listed in the online event program and promoted on social media.

Complete the form below before February 1st, 2023 to apply for a booth in The Village Square. The STEAMfest team and Woodlawn School will review all applications. Upon approval, you will be required to sign the STEAMfest vendor contract and submit a $250 registration fee.
