FeedNC - Mimi's Garden

FeedNC stands for Food, Education, Essentials, with Dignity.
https://www.feednc.org/
The Earnhardt family and The Dale Jr. Foundation, combined with longtime partner Unilever helped establish Mimi’s Garden at FeedNC in memory of Brenda Jackson (also known as Mimi). Brenda passed away in 2019 following a battle with cancer and was the mother of Kelley Earnhardt Miller and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Mimi’s Garden is a 38,000 sq ft acre produce garden and food-focused resource that helps end the cycle of hunger. This garden will grow produce that will feed and nourish neighbors in need. In addition, the garden will be used to educate community members of all ages on the importance of growing food in a fun and sustainable way that also respects the land. Volunteers will be an integral part of this special garden. We welcome all to come and get their hands dirty!
