My capstone is researching examples of gender discrimination in healthcare in order to discover ways to lessen its prevalence. Come learn about how gender bias in healthcare affects treatment of heart disease, mental health, and maternal mortality rates. I’m conducting a survey to determine the general experiences of people in the community with healthcare diagnosis, treatment, and biases. I will use the anonymous data to conclude my capstone with statistics from my community based on experiences of biases in different locations, genders, and ages.
