Woodlawn School and STEAMfest announce Wyatt, of Fate, TX, is the first Daily Prize winner! The winner was randomly drawn on February 3, 2021 from a number of completed journal entries. Wyatt’s winning journal entry was entered on the Mooresville Public Library’s Weather in a Jar activity. The Mooresville Public Library is one of the public libraries in our region and has been a great partner to Woodlawn School and STEAMfest over the years.
Wyatt drew a beautiful example of the Water Cycle and uploaded it to his MySTEAMfest Journal. Way to go Wyatt! Ms. Crystal will be so impressed, as are we!
When STEAMfest contacted Wyatt’s mother informing her with the news he was our first Daily Prize winner, she emailed back, “This is such wonderful and exciting news!!! Wyatt would love to share his art work with everyone on your website and social media. He had a lot of fun with the experiments and learning about the Cycle of Water. We still have the cloud/rain water experiment sitting on our kitchen island. It has been a ton of fun to share with our neighborhood friends. Thank you for creating this program and inviting everyone to participate.”
