How-to STEAMfest
Step 1. Register – Complete the registration form here: https://steamfest.woodlawnschool.org.
Step 2. Complete Activities – Find an activity that you like and follow the instructions to do the activity. Some are easy and just require a few minutes. Others are more complex and can take hours. Either way have fun! This is your chance to IMAGINE, DISCOVER and EXPLORE.
Step 3. Record In Journal – Record the results of your activity in the journal. Each activity has a “Journal Questions” box similar to this:
Click the Journal icon (
) to start a new journal entry for this activity. You can answer the journal questions, upload pictures and save the journal entry.
Step 4. Earn Badges – By completing activities and other goals in STEAMfest you can earn badges. Stay tuned for more information about badges.
Step 5. Win Prizes – Each completed activity and journal entry adds an entry to the Daily Prize drawing. The more activities the greater the chance you can win a prize. You must complete and journal at least one activity to have a chance in the Daily Prize drawings.
Wait There’s More
At the top right of each activity page, there’s a box like this:
The 
will save the activity to your MySTEAMfest page. Keep track of the activities that you’re interested in.
The 
will send love to the creator. Show the creator that you appreciate their effort.
The 
gives you a chance to ask the creator a question. Not sure how to do the activity then ask a question.
The 
starts a journal entry for the activity.
