Week One Drawing

Ethan, a 4th Grader at Pine Lake Preparatory in NC, is the winner of the 70mm telescope with carrying bag, tripod, phone attachment, and more! The 1st weekly drawing occurred on February 7th, 2021 and was randomly selected from completed activities with journal entries received by 11:59pm EST on February 6th, 2021.

Week Two Drawing

Landen, of Cornelius, NC, won the STEAM Bundle! The bundle included a STEAM activity kit, Snap Circuits Set, STEAM book full of fun STEAM activities to try at home, and a hand help microscope! Landen's name was randomly selected from the journal entries received by 11:59pm EST February 13, 2021!

Terms & Conditions

  • Prizes are awarded daily and weekly to United States residents only.  Due to shipping logistics, legal, and other restrictions, non-US residents will be excluded.  With exception to week 3, each participant will only be allowed to win one prize during the event lasting from January 30th, 2021 through February 20th, 2021.  Drawings will begins on February 2nd, 2021.
  • Prizes are randomly generated and awarded to registered “Explorers” in Kindergarten through 12th grades.  “Explorers” receive one entry into the random drawing for each activity they complete.  Completed activities consist of a journal entry that has been reviewed for legitimacy by the STEAMteam.  Chances of winning are dependent upon number of participants and number of completed activities.
  • Prize winners are notified by email and must produce a valid United States address within 48 hours of email notification.  Prizes will be shipped to the address provided and the prize winners will be notified with an estimated date of delivery.  Woodlawn School and STEAMfest are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged prizes.
  • Daily and Weekly prize winners will receive an age-appropriate STEAM-related prize selected by the STEAMteam. 
  • On week 3, a special weekly prize valued up to $200 will be awarded to one lucky winner.  “Explorers” will receive one entry into the random drawing for each completed activity.
  • In addition to the daily and weekly prizes, one lucky winner will be awarded a prize for completing their registration by 11:59 pm EST on Monday, February 1st.  The winner of the special early registration prize will be chosen randomly and the winner will be notified by email.  The above terms and conditions apply, except they do not have to complete a journal entry to be entered.  Completing the registration process is all that is needed to be entered into the early registration drawing.
