Lincoln Log Creations – Build It Your Way!

Grab some Lincoln Logs and build a cabin, tower, or anything you can imagine! Great for ages 4 and up.

llogs

This quick and creative activity invites kids ages 4 and up to build their own mini masterpiece using classic Lincoln Logs. In just a few minutes, participants can design a tiny cabin, a tower, or something totally original. The focus is on imagination, spatial thinking, and hands-on fun.

Lincoln Logs were invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright, the son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Inspired by earthquake-resistant construction techniques in Japan, they became one of the earliest toys marketed to both boys and girls and have remained a creative classic for over a century.

After building, guests are encouraged to take a picture of their creation and share it on social media by tagging @wsteamfest.

This is a great activity for kids of all ages and a fun way to connect play with STEAM learning!

Did You Know? Lincoln Logs were invented in 1916 by John Lloyd Wright, the son of famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright! The design was inspired by the interlocking beams used in earthquake-proof buildings in Japan. The toy was one of the first to be marketed to both boys and girls and has been a favorite for over 100 years!
